Day 30 – Your favorite song at this time last year

For my very last entry of this 30 day challenge I'll leave you with a song that was my favorite last year and that i still LOVE today. I found MOD SUN (Movement of Dreams; Stand Under None) by accident, like I find a lot of my favorite things. I was watching a Ustream video of NeverShoutNever and he came in and rapped on the spot. It was funny and witty so I looked him up. It was a long search because last year he barley had 300 views on his videos. But now there in the ten thousands and it's been great to watch him get more and more popular and spread his 'new variety of music", Hippy Hop, across the world.

Day 25 – A song that makes you laugh

The two guys in this video are both really funny youtubers and every once in a while the team up and do videos together. This is Charlie's Birthday Song to Alex.

Day 24 –A song that you want to play at your funeral

I'm actually going to steal this one from one of my favorite movies ever, Across The Universe. I'm going to pick Let It Be by The Beatles. I'm also going to include the song when it's in the movie and the original song by the beatles. I just think that this part in the movie is very sad and powerful.

Movie Version-

Beatles Version-

Both are great versions of the song, but obviously Paul takes the cake.

Day 18 – A song that you wish you heard on the radio

There are so many undiscovered artists out there with so much talent being blocked by auto tuned pretty boys that I could name hundreds of bands that I listen to that I would love to hear make it to radio. But NeverShoutNever (recently released an Ep under their lead singers name only, Christofer Drew), my favorite band, has come SO FAR, that I would love to see him get some more recognition. He's (Christofer Drew) been on the cover of Alternate Press and was named Artist of the year by the same magazine, but his music is still unheard by a lot of people. He does have a ton of fans, but you have to look for him to get a taste of his music. If me or any of my friends heard him actually on the radio I think we'd actually be angry that he wasn't "all ours" anymore, but I know when credit is due, and NeverShoutNever deserves as much recognition as they can get.

Day 16 – A song that you used to love but now hate

The only reason I will end up hating a song after I've liked it is because I will put it on repeat for days and then it'll be on the radio, and by then I've gone insane. So yes, it's my own fault, but every variation of Cee Lo Green's F*** You (Forget you, F you) now will make me grit my teeth. It's a totally fine song but it's ENTIRELY my fault.

Day 14 – A song that no one would expect you to love

Seeing as how I have a wide range of taste in music, it's hard for me to really try to surprise anyone. Even in the past 13 days the variety of music has been incredibly wide ranged. I'd probably say In The Ghetto by Elvis Presley. While I have mentioned by respect and enjoyment of old classics, this song, unlike many of my other choices is slow and sad.

Test Post

This is a test.
